De examenklas had vandaag laatste schooldag. Omdat ik extra bagage mee wilde zeulen (waaronder mijn camera) heb ik de Versatile genomen.
Op het werk zou die dag niemand aanwezig zijn. De school staat redelijk 'afgelegen'. M'n fiets daar zomaar laten staan, ook al is het overdag, vond ik niet zo prettig. Vandaar dat ik hem niet alleen op het alarm zette maar ook met een kettingslot vast wilde zetten. Een collega van me zag dat en opperde dat ik m'n fiets natuurlijk ook in school kon neerzetten. Dat advies heb ik opgevolgd. M'n fiets heeft dus heerlijk veilig gestaan.
Met dit warme weer denk ik dat het aantal ritjes met (en daarmee het aantal berichten over) de Versatile minder zal worden. Om toch m'n weblog met regelmaat van nieuwe berichten te voorzien, denk ik dat ook de Fujin-verhalen hier ga plaatsen.

out position of the Versatile as compared to the Leitra. But when
the temperature will further rise
I´ll need some extra ventilation.
I think about a small hole at the front (stagnation point air intake)
which could be connected to a tube
system for air delivery.

Perhaps you've heard of it already but it's possible to have some more ventilation in the Versatile.
It's rather simple: Lift the top a few inches, push the sides slightly outwards with your elbows. Then (while holding the sides outwards) lower the top. The 'clamps' on the lowest part of the 'top' now create a small gap between the top and the bike itself. Works great!
However, in nice weather it's also great to ride a 'normal' recumbent.
